DataEngineer Hub is not a content mill. Tutorials, cheat sheets, glossary entries, and tools are written by people who have run the stacks they describe. The primary author is Sainath Reddy, a data engineer based in Hyderabad. Guest authors appear in this directory only after at least one piece has passed editorial review and gone live.
That review is the same bar as staff content: technical accuracy, working examples where code is shown, a real name and bio, and no unedited AI drafts. If a guest post is wrong after publication, we patch it in public the same way we patch staff posts. Bylines are not sold, and we will not add a co-author who did not write the article.
We decline pitches that rephrase vendor docs, dump certification questions, or exist only to place a backlink. A useful guest post usually comes from a production incident, a migration, a cost save, or a design that other engineers can copy.
Use the directory to see who writes here before you cite a guide. Staff work is concentrated on Snowflake cost and SQL, dbt project design, Airflow operations, and certification-style practice. Guest work is labeled on the article. If you only want production tutorials, start at All Articles or a category hub such as Snowflake or dbt.
